Activity-Digging Deeper: Use the 5 Themes of Geography to explain why Charlotte, NC is the home for the DNC for 2012.
The class will be broken up into groups. Each group will write 3 or more sentences for each of the 5 themes of geography.
Within in the 3 or more sentences give examples of that theme for Charlotte and how it relates to why the city was chosen for the DNC. Use your 5 themes of geography handout for guidance. To help you use the following questions:
