4. Child Care: broad term that describes any situation in which children are provided with supervision, support and sometimes training by individuals outside the child’s immediate family.
Trend: the overall direction in which a society moves within a given time frame.

5. Nanny vs. Au Pair Nanny Au Pair
An in-home care provider who may or may not live with the family.
A person from another country who lives with the family and cares for its children to receive exposure to American culture as a part of his or her employment.

1.The United States is a society with many families moving to find employment.
2. Grandparents and other family often live far away or are still in the workforce.
