2. Mid Ulster Community Resus Action Plan
Council has committed to roll out the Mid Ulster Community Resuscitation programme and support the provision of defibrillators and emergency cardiac response support .
Initial work has progressed both within MUDC and in conjunction with NHSCT, SHSCT, NI Ambulance Service, Cormac Trust and British Heart Foundation NI.

Automated External Defibrillators (AEDS)
Training
Raising Awareness

5. On the day…
• Volunteers will provide training on CPR and how to deal with choking and bleeding. • Training sessions will run across the district; -Cookstown Leisure Centre -Dungannon Leisure Centre -Greenvale Leisure Centre -Event Space at Hill of the O’Neill, Dungannon • Heart Start participating post primary schools will train their pupils on the day in school.

7. Moving forward
• Developing a “ Call Push Rescue” campaign to be rolled out in 2017.
Campaign aims to;
Raise awareness of the Call Push Rescue message
Promote Call Push Rescue Kits to communities and post primary schools
Train local people to deal effectively in an emergency situation while waiting on Ambulance Services in the event of an out of hospital cardiac arrest
