3 Academic Performance Evaluation (APE)
The annual assessment of your academic performance – based on number of credits completed (pass or fail). You must meet the minimum CGPA requirement each year to remain and continue in B.Com. APE is only calculated once you have taken 4.0 credits, and then every subsequent 4.0 credits - How many credits?

4 When Is APE Calculated? An annual assessment of your performance happens after winter term. In early June, decision is posted in your Carleton Central account under Student Records/myProgress (APE) This assessment is based on all courses taken prior to present summer term (June ‘16 summer term courses would be on next year’s APE) Are the credits cumulative?

5 Outcomes of APE Evaluation
The possible outcomes of the evaluation include: Good Standing: CGPA requirements are met Continue in Bcom Academic Warning (AW): miss the CGPA requirement by no more than 1.0-point. Continue in Bcom for at least one more year Continue in Alternate (CA): miss the CGPA requirement by more than 1.0-point OR was previsouly AW and did not meet the required CGPA Removed from Bcom don’t understand the do not meet cgpa for a 2nd time.
