4. Event Update: Myrtle Lake Restoration
Unfortunately, this event has been cancelled due to the high water levels caused by Hurricane Irma
We are working with Knights Give Back to replace this event

5. Service Event: Light Up the Night
What: helping with UCF’s annual Light Up the Night, an event to raise awareness about intimate partner violence
When: Monday, October 2nd, 5:30-8:30 PM
Where: Pegasus Ballroom in the student union
What to wear: Black plants, a purple or white shirt
RSVP limit is 4 people, please RSVP by Friday at 4:00

6. Social: Challenge Course
We are trying to find a day & time to book the challenge course at UCF

7. T-Shirt Design
Submissions for semester shirt designs will not be accepted after October 4th at 5:00 PM
We will vote on designs October 11th
Design submissions will be kept anonymous

8. Hurricane Maria Relief
CASA- Coordinadora de Apoyo, Solidaridad y Ayuda, is collecting donations to send to Puerto Rico to aid the relief efforts after the devastation of Hurricane Maria
Items that are needed:
General medicine First-aid kits Drinking water Personal-hygiene and feminine-care products Tents or awning Cots and sleeping bags Diapers and wet wipes Disposable plates, cups and cutlery  Bug repellent Baby formula Sheets and towels
For each item donated, you will receive a half hour of service hours, for up to 2 hours (4 items)
Although you are limited to 2 hours, you are welcomed & encouraged to donate more than 4 items

Drop off location: 1865 N Econlockhatchee Trail, Orlando, Fl
Drop off time: This Friday, the 29th, from 10:00AM-7:00PM
Please take a photograph of your items as proof of donation & it to or show me your receipt

10. Partial Proceeds: Burger U
Where: BurgerU
When: Tuesday, October 3rd, from 6:00-8:00PM
Bring friends! Tell them you are with LAE & we receive 10% of the proceeds
Counts towards one of your fundraising hours as well as a social if you stay
You can bring a friend & earn an extra half hour, for up to 1 hour

11. Service Event: Flyer Handout
What: Handing out flyers for our BurgerU partial proceeds
When: Tuesday, October 3rd, 4:30-5:30
Meet in HPA 10 minutes prior to start of the event
