Range of organisations, small/medium/large.
£4 million total funding available:
Strategic: in the region of £750k
Standard: between £150k and £500k
Small: between £50k and £150k
Projects 2-5 years in length

For organisations who have a strong track record of supporting disabled people as the primary focus of their work.
Funding for mainstream organisations
For organisations with a strong track record of livelihoods work in Tanzania and/or Uganda, who are committed to strengthening their approach to disability inclusive development.

8. Funding for disability specialist organisations
Strong evidence base on how to enable disabled people to improve their livelihoods.
Could include:
Replicating or scaling up livelihood approaches that have been previously tested.
Piloting new livelihood initiatives that build on the existing strengths of the organisation and its partners.

10. Expressions of interest – disability specialist organisations
About your organisation: experience (and evidence) of disability work in Tanzania/Uganda; experience on inclusive livelihoods; where you work and current partners.
Your approach: disabled people in the lead; capacity development of partners.
Potential project ideas: potential location, type of livelihood action, people who will participate, tentative overall figure.

11. Funding for mainstream organisations
Organisations that are building on a strong evidence base of how to enable people in Tanzania and Uganda to improve their livelihoods.
Ensuring learning supports a change in wider organisational practices, beyond the funding.
Could include:
Adapting ongoing livelihoods work to include disabled people.
Piloting new livelihood initiatives that build on the existing strengths of the organisation and its partners, where disabled people form a significant proportion of the project participants.

Your experience of disability inclusive development: current work on disability-inclusion and challenges; ideas of how funding might support you to further your approach to disability inclusion.
