*8 planets: Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune
*Moons – revolve around planets
Meteorites
Asteroids
Comets
*(These are listed in order from largest to smallest)

4. THE SUN averaged sized star *largest body in our system
Center of our solar system – all planets orbit around the sun
*Mostly composed of (made up of) Hydrogen and Helium

5. Sun has a powerful gravitation pull
*Sun’s gravity is responsible for the orbits of planets around the sun
