1 using two-point perspective of a structured assigned in class.
Perspective Drawing Students will be able to create a finalized watercolor landscape drawing using two-point perspective of a structured assigned in class. 1. Establish a horizon line and 2 vanishing points. (consider putting one off the page) 2. Demonstrate two-point perspective in a drawing using pen and watercolor colored pencils. 3. Show a structure that is chosen from a provided list in perspective. 4. Include foreground, middle ground, and background in a detailed, creative and unique manner.

These angles do NOT go to any vanishing point. They go to the front corners of the structure.

98 The sidewalk breaks go the opposite vanishing point.

99 Circle (in perspective)

100 Instead of worrying about a
circle in linear perspective- Use it’s relationship to a square: A circle simply curves evenly between the four sides of a square, touching the center of each side.

101 Make a square in perspective

102 Then find the center

103 Now you know where the circle touches each side of the square

104 The oval makes itself if you curve nicely between the sides.

105 Dome

106 Top center of the dome is center to the flat oval below.
The curve comes up from the outside edge of the oval.

Perspective Drawing Students will be able to create a finalized watercolor landscape drawing using two-point perspective of a structured assigned in class. 1. Establish a horizon line and 2 vanishing points. (consider putting one off the page) 2. Demonstrate two-point perspective in a drawing using pencil. 3. Show a structure that is chosen from a provided list in perspective. 4. Include foreground, middle ground, and background in a detailed, creative and unique manner (DEPTH OF FIELD) 5. Finish drawing with watercolor pencils and ink!

116 Perspective Drawing Students will be able to create a finalized watercolor landscape drawing using two-point perspective of a structured assigned in class (Due before break) 1. Establish a horizon line and 2 vanishing points. (consider putting one off the page) 2. Demonstrate YOUR NAME in block letters, demonstrating 2-point perspective. 3. Start sketches for your 2 perspective project- At least 5 sketches multiple structures. (consider depth of field

117 Water colored pencil process (smooth side of 11x 10 paper)
First use LIGHT pencil marks Establish horizon line and 2 vanishing points (consider making one off the page, use a taped apparatus to back of page for accuracy) Draw structure utilizing perspective and vanishing points Plan landscape details Next Color with water soluble colored pencils Be sure to use proper technique to avoid harsh lines! Then add water with small brush Remember, once water is applied, the color becomes permanent. Finish with pen Black line will help define edges

119 Expectation attempted, but not successful.
N/A (0 points) 1 (10 points) 2 (15 points) 3 (20 points) Expectation attempted, but not successful. Objective completed at grade level. Expectation demonstrated in an advanced way that is completed original. Aesthetic- Composition is creative and clear. Elements of line and proportion are demonstrated clearly. Craftsmanship was taken into consideration when using ink and colored pencil. Reason- Class directions have been followed. Assigned structure displays perspective accurately using horizon line and 2 vanishing points. Negative space on page is filled with foreground, middle ground and background. Time- Careful planning was taken into consideration. Student utilized class time. Student followed creative process to configure best solution.
