4. METHODOLOGY A) Sampling Design for Social Data: Total Enumeration
36 households were taken
B) Sampling Design for Ecological Data:
Stratified Systematic sampling with 0.5% sampling intensity.
22 plots
20m×25m for Trees, 10m×10m for Poles, 5m×5m for Sapling and 2m×5m for Regeneration
C) 79 indicators under 5 criteria

Comparing to the criteria developed by DoF condition of forest is poor.
Forest has only 71.7 % chance of sustainability.
Status of SFM is Good
Still room to improve ( 29.3%)
