I don’t know where the time goes. We just had our September meeting and we are back at it again. We were mentioned in the October Dept. of Ma. AMVETS Newsletter for setting a local milestone. Paul E. Clark Post 2001 added 4 new members at the September meeting and we now have 52 members surpassing our goal 50 members. Welcome new members Ed Selman, John O’Keefe and Frank Cream from the U S Army, and Robert Anderson of the USN. We will be having our Veterans Day weekend Clover Drive on Saturday & Sunday Nov. 7th & 8th at the Avon Walmart from 8 AM to 5 PM. We need to have at least 2 people per shift each day. Please sign up with Bob Cotone at or myself at The Clover Drive is our main source of funding for our programs for veterans and their families. If you have not been to a meeting lately please come this month and meet the new members. The meetings are on the 3rd Sunday of the month at 9:30 A M at the Avon VFW and last about 1 hour at most.
