Disciples share His truth as believers including ourselves who have fallen to the consequences of sin.
When we speak as an advocate of Christ we share to others Christ dying for our sins offering forgiveness for our trespasses.

“The King said whatever you do for the least of these you do for me.”

We introduce others to Christ. Who is He? What did He do for us? Our actions represent Him. We share what He is doing in our lives.

12. If you advocate for something, you are advocating against another
If you advocate for something, you are advocating against another. Example: If you advocate for life, then the opposing force is death.
Advocate comes from the Latin word advocatus, someone who has been called in to help. Originally used in the sense of legal adviser or friendly witness, the word became a term in roman law designating the professional who defends one’s interests in a court case. Advocate is just a fancy term for a lawyer, someone who pleads your case before the bar or justice. John writes, “If any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous” (I John 2:1). Jesus goes before God on our behalf and says, “Father, I know they are sinners, but they have repented and My blood has cleansed them. They belong to Me.”
If you advocate for a resident, then you are advocating against the forces that put him there.

13. Because we only advocate for Christ we don’t advocate for:
written mail correspondence, video visitation, , MP3 music sent, use of social media with residents, make court ordered payments on their behalf, send money via Jpay or any other means.
