6. Preparing for your FAFSA
Gather Documents:
Federal income tax returns
W-2 forms and other income
Benefits records from state and federal agencies
Social Security numbers

Graduate from Oregon high school or complete GED in spring/summer 2017
Enroll in an Oregon community college within six months of graduation
Have a 2.5 cumulative GPA or higher
Oregon resident for at least 12 months prior to enrollment
Grant covers all or most of community college costs

12. Oregon Promise Application
Online application available October 10, 2016– March 1, 2017
Complete the FAFSA or alternate FAFSA
Accept all state and federal grants awarded
