5. Housekeeping No more than 4 students at a table
DO NOT move the furniture. Leave the chairs facing forward
Put materials back where you found them. ASK for help if you’re unsure!

6. Library Procedures You MUST have a pass. No pass = No entry
Passes must be complete
Give your pass to the librarian or study hall aide who will sign you in
If you are leaving before the bell rings the librarian or aide will sign you out and return your pass

7. Finding what you need Destiny Online Circulation Catalog
Allows you to search by title, author, subject, and keyword.
POWER Library
A website that provides links to many online databases where you can find articles from professional journals.

8. Finding what you need AccessPA
This website allows you to view other school’s holdings. There is a way I can request to borrow these items if you need them.

9. Checking Out Books Books are checked out for two weeks
Two books at a time
Reference books cannot be taken from the library
The fine for overdue books is 5 cents/day
You cannot check out books if you have overdue items
You will pay the price of the book for any book lost or damaged

10. Magazines & Newspapers
The library subscribes to The Daily News and numerous magazines
These materials may not be checked out you can use them in the library

11. Computer Guidelines Computers are for educational use!
Chat, message boards, GAMES, , and personal websites are not permitted
Do not mess with the equipment (mouse, cables, speakers, keyboards, monitors, etc).
ASK for help if something isn’t working properly
You will be asked to leave if these guidelines are not followed

12. Printing PLEASE do not print without previewing first
Make sure to only print what you need

13. Copies A student copy machine is located in the library
I can make copies for you for ten cents each

14. Displays/Activities
Keep your eyes and ears open for exciting things happening in the library this school year
