1 Canvas Integration

2 Canvas Integration Add course(s) to i>clicker.
Click settings to setup the integration. (Requires admin to have performed setup in advance, with xml file in Resources folder.)

3 Canvas Integration Click Select Course.

4 Canvas Integration Canvas login screen appears. Login with Canvas credentials.

5 Canvas Integration Grant permission for login.

6 Canvas Integration List of Canvas courses appears. Select correct course and click “Select”,

7 Settings now shows integrated Canvas course.

8 Canvas Integration Gradebook shows “Sync Roster” and “Sync Scores” icons. Click Sync Roster to download the roster (as shown). Once students vote in class, instructor can click sync scores to upload scores to Canvas.

9 Troubleshooting Problem: Student grades are not appearing in gradebook
Resolution: 1) students need to register remotes, 2) sync your roster Unregistered remote Unregistered student Registered and synchronized student/ remote

10 Troubleshooting Problem: Unknown REEF students appearing in gradebook
Resolution: 1) students need to enter student IDs (as they appear in your roster in their REEF accounts 2) sync your roster

11 Troubleshooting Problem: Uploading scores to LMS is taking a long time
Resolution: Best practice is to sync after every class (session) if you have larger classes (more than 100 students) and/ or have asked many questions each session. Note: Canvas sync may take longer than other LMSs due to pagination.
