Plans will provide two new primary schools on MOD land, adjacent to new SFA at Larkhill and Ludgershall. They will accommodate 420 and 210 pupils respectively. In addition primary schools in Bulford (Kiwi and St Leonard’s) will be extended to provide an additional 225 places. Some 392 additional secondary places will be provided at Avon Valley College and Wellington Academy, and possibly Stonehenge School at Amesbury. Additional early years provision is being scoped and Wiltshire Council is looking for c. 50 places at Larkhill and 25 at Ludgershall to be provided within the new primary schools.

Financial Support MOD Education Support Fund
Last year, 14 Wiltshire schools were supported by the fund, allocated a total of £674k Lyneham Primary Stonehenge Secondary This year, 15 bids are being considered covering 73 schools affecting approx 12,000 pupils for £2m Pupil Premium Provided by the DfE to State maintained Schools, Free Schools and Academies who have service children in their pupil population to provide additional support Larkhill Primary Kiwi School Bulford AFCCGS No recent successful bids from schools in Wiltshire. Wilts Council and HQ 43 (Wx) Bde keen to change this
