1 Circle Map Objective Question: Bio: How did a virus get to Riverton?
E.S.: How did the geology under Riverton effect the town? Directions: Write the word “Riverton” in the middle of your paper. Draw a circle around the word. Write the objective at the top of the paper. Go over to the table and observe the town directly or take a picture and review it at your desk.

E.S.: How did the geology under Riverton effect the town? Directions: Write the objective on the top line. Use the observations from the Circle Map to create categories. Group the observations according to relationship and/or location. There is no limit to the number of categories to create. Under the categories, write details about that category. Categories can be areas or buildings where you think something occurred.

E.S.: How did the geology under Riverton effect the town? Directions: Write the objective on the left most line on the Brace Map. Use the Tree Map to identify categories. Try to combine categories to create an event. Analyze a category at a time to come up with an event. An example of an event would be, Category 1: Ship, Category 2: Ocean. Event = The ship crashed in the ocean.

E.S.: How did the geology under Riverton effect the town? Directions: Use information from the “Brace Map” to create a sequence that answers the Objective Question. Use the large boxes to write a general description of the beginning, middle and end of the sequence. Write detailed information about the sequence in the smaller boxes.

5 Cause and Effect Directions:

Directions: Use the information/Event from the “Brace Maps” to create the cause and effect maps. There is no limit to the number of Maps made. The information in the Map answers the objective question.
