Update on programme so far Review of pre workshop Task 1: (reflect and share what you have been working on with your players during practice and note them on a flip chart for other coaches to see) Plan Pre – During and Post match team talks linked to practice ILOs and match day objectives (Team – Unit – Individual) How – What – Who – Why – When 10.30 – / X3 8v8 or 9v9 games X4 15min 1/4s with 5min breaks in between for team talks Coaches film/voice record Pre – During – Post team talks on their personal phones Assistant coach will review recording , feedback and plan next team talk with head coach FA staff will be on each pitch to offer support and guidance 12.00 – pm / Class room for Review, Consolidate and Action Planning 12.45 – 1pm / Q & A, Depart

Objectives: Opportunity for coaches to see how the England DNA links into grassroots football and coaching fundamental of ‘How we Coach’. Coaches will enhance their confidence and experience to use varied coaching styles based on needs of individuals and the group. Use a variety of communication methods which relate to their players experience and ability and age. See examples of good and poor practice Plan Pre – During and Post match team talks linked to practice ILOs and match day objectives (Team – Unit – Individual) How – What – Who – Why – When Coaches film/voice record Pre – During – Post team talks on their personal phones Assistant coach will review recording , feedback and plan next team talk with head coach Connect

BAME Club Targeted Work:
BAME targeted supported since April 2016 – Birmingham CFA. Clubs targeted for support year 1 by BCFA, Tantany Lions, Liddar sports & Punjab Utd. 16-17 season application process, Anglesey Swifts and Punjab Utd. BAME Coaches Academy /2018 FA L1 & L2 – June & July start Steve P – To expand on quals in afternoon session

Review of Task 1: Reflect on why and what you have been working on during practice sessions? Reflect why and how these sessions have had an positive impact with your players during practice and match days? Activate Coaches review pre course task and use flip chart paper to show their work – 10mins Go round tables for coaches to share their thoughts – 5mins

Task 2: Plan your Pre game team talk linked to what you have worked on during practice. Consider: Team – Unit – Individual challenges Formation Communication methods Coaching Styles Demonstrate Play Stewart Pearce and baseball video Flip Chart Paper to write down their thoughts, link to video/voice recording

Task 3 - Games: X4 15min 1/4s with 5min breaks in between for team talks Coaches film/voice record Pre – During – Post team talks on their personal phones Assistant coach will review recording , feedback and plan next team talk with head coach FA staff will be on each pitch to offer support and guidance Demonstrate

EQA - Process and systems visit (Valid and robust)
CCD – Learner experience (1 visit per tutor) IQA – Measure distance travelled DAQA – Delivery model Section 2 Journal answers - Context for learner IQA Sampling on 50% of courses and 25% of learners (5 learner journals and 5 practical) Tutor to pick 5 (workshop 5 and 7 – 1hr per visit) Standardisation meeting (1 per year)
