1 Nielsen 360 On-ground Ideas

2 Idea 1 – Twitter Sessions

3 After each session, there will be a 10 minute twitter-interaction break.
Audience at the event have to tweet their questions to the speaker with a particular hashtag (#Consumer360,#QnA360) and tag the Neilsen Twitter handle. These tweets will be projected on a screen behind the speaker, and the speaker will engage with the audience / answer their queries based on the tweet. Also, the speaker's answer will be summarized in 140 characters and tweeted back to the person from the audience who asked it. The objective of the activity is to change the normal format of QnA by passing the mic, and gain visibility over twitter. It is also more engaging than a normal microphone QnA session.

4 Idea 2 – Brain Train

5 'BrainTrain' is brain exercise program that improves core cognitive abilities such as memory, attention and intelligence. Training with BrainTrain enables users to remember more, think faster, and perform better at work and in everyday life. How does it work? 1. Attendees at the Nielsen Consumer 360 conference would be asked to participate in a quick 60 second test to analyse their cognitive skills via an i-pad app. 2. The attendees would then receive a graphic report of their strengths and weakness across several parameters like memory, attention and intelligence. Why? Considering Nielsen is a research and data firm, why stop at market research when personal traits also affect business growth. Hence, Nielsen gives industry professionals insights on themselves via BrainTrain Reference Example:

6 Idea 3 – Signing Off/Leave your mark

7 We have two surface tablets on a table or wall.
People are invited to #SignOff with their signatures and a handwriting analysis is displayed on the first tablet. It would also have a social plugin where they can share the meaning of their signature to their friends list. They are also asked whether they would like to share it on the “Signature Board/Wall of Signatures”. And if they would like to connect with LinkedIn to display their information on a signature board. This signature board / wall of signatures is the other surface tablet that will comprise of all the signatures in a thumbnail format. The participants, curious as they are, can randomly select a signature. This signature will take them to the respective signatory’s professional profile which may or may not be connected to LinkedIn, but will have name, designation, and field that they are from. The signatures will be grouped under particular headings such as Marketing, Finance, etc. Audience present at the venue can look for different signatures under each category and they can then recommend that person for particular skills that they think they possess. This will be a very interactive venture.

8 Idea 4 – VizCards

9 Physical business cards are cumbersome, and you might not want to share yours with everyone. It is embarassing, however, to refuse a business card. We invite the participants to create their business cards virtually. We create a mobile app that they can use to create virtual business cards. They will be asked to enter information such as Name, Designation, Linked In Profiles, Business Website and other desired information. They can choose from a Nielsen range of templates for their business cards. These business cards will be the size of their phone screens and they can share it with select participants via Bluetooth. Through the app they can see the profile of the people standing nearby (or present at the event) These cards can then be sent to the desired recipient via a swipe or tap animation. What the card contains: · Name · Company · Designation · Contact number · LinkedIn profile link (optional)

10 Idea 5 – Kudos

11 Insight: Everyone likes to be told that they are making a difference
Insight: Everyone likes to be told that they are making a difference. Everyone adores appreciation. App/Digital screen The participants will be sent a digital invite to attend the event Conversely, we can procure information from their LinkedIn pages. Drawback: Will all of them have entered most data on their LinkedIn profiles? Participants are able to access any fellow attendee’s profile and can see their career achievements. They can choose to Recommend them for skills that they possess or Appreciate their work on specific projects that they think was good. Outcome: Engaging activity for networking, and building social contacts

12 Idea 6 – iSpy/The Other Side

13 Type: Interactive Digital installation
Dependency: NFC/Bluetooth Two big screens are placed opposite each other at the location. We invite people to stand on both the platforms by asking them to see what happens if they step on it together. The screens have cameras attached. There is a slightly elevated platform in front of each of them. Once the person stands on this area, it activates the screen. The camera takes a photo and pulls information from the database. Similarly, the other person has to stand on the elevated platform. The information of the first person is visible to the second person on the screen with the photograph taken. (When there is one person each on the two platforms, Person 1 can see the professional profile of Person 2 who is standing near Screen 2 and vice-versa.) They can choose to connect with each other using their social profiles by touching the linked in / twitter plugin Note: Waiting time is 5-10 seconds, i.e. The people will have to stand for at least that much time.

14 THANK YOU
