Information sources: 1. In “Computer Engineering” tab you can find information about your curriculum – study plan for 4 years. You have to register for the classes every semester by yourself, within the required time! Every semester refer to the information announced in Notices and look at your Curriculum to check your classes!

10 2. Online Networking/Information
2. Facebook   DSU GSI Announcement Board Important announcements are posted here! Join the group to get important notifications!

11 2. Online Networking/Information
Check all three sources regularly! 1. 2. Facebook    DSU GSI Announcement Board 3. Kakao Talk Find the answers to your questions there. GSI homepage contains all necessary information regarding your study program. 3. Kakao Talk Let’s create 2 groups: Freshmen Sophomores This can be useful for some urgent notices!

14 3. Curriculum

16 3. Curriculum One of the Foundation Studies classes is English Conversation (1,2,3,4). Starting this year this language class is separated into two: English track Korean track From 3rd semester students can choose – either keep attending English conversation (levels 3 and 4) or register for Korean language (level 1 and 2). Freshmen can choose a track next semester. Once chosen – you cannot change from Korean to English or from English to Korean. Current sophomores can only follow English track. English Track Korean Track Semester 1 Semester 2 English Conversation 1 English Conversation 2 Semester 3 Semester 4 English Conversation 3 English Conversation 4 Korean Language 1 Korean Language 2 If you still have question/s about your course plan – ask Prof. Elena, or Prof. Lee YoungSil, or Prof. Kim Hekyung.

18 Code of Conduct In summary the student code of conduct means that you must: • Behave appropriately at all times and be considerate of others. This includes use of mobile phones and electronic devices in class, or any antisocial behavior that might put yourself or others at risk. • Meet the standards related to your study. Academic misconduct, cheating, collusion and plagiarism will not be tolerated. This also includes being late for class. • Show respect for DSU property and premises. • Smoking is prohibited on DSU property. • Only eat and drink in designated areas. • Use of drugs and alcohol at DSU is prohibited. • Treat other students and staff in a non-discriminatory, respectful manner.

19 Time Management Plan your studying process appropriately!
Do all the assignments on time. Avoid spending hours on social networks, chatting with friends, etc. Do not wait end of the semester for “solving” problems with attendances and low grades. There is no solution at that time! Work for your good grades from beginning of the semester till the end of it! NO generousity! You will get what you deserve!

20 5. Summary new schedule for 2 classes (50/50)
keep connected (GSI homepage, FB GSI board, e-Class, Kakaotalk) plan your credits!!! (130 credit within 8 semesters) STUDY!!!!!! REMEMBER!!! Hand in your Public Service documents every week in order to pass this course! If you do not pass one semester – you will have to study one semester more or even longer to graduate B.A.
