Option 2: cancelled because of the cost. Option 5: cancelled because of the cost. 3 solutions are kept: What could be the obstacles ? Option 1: the equation HV/Radiation for some components + Manpower and cost Options 3 and 4: the routing of HV cables. Option 4: Manpower and cost 2

Some information We cannot consider that the options 1 and 4 (new design) are the same because of the radiation constraints that will induce a different scheme. Is there space for routing cables (Options 3 and 4) ? What are the needs when using Mini-drawers and 1.2 cm diameter cables? 1 Train of 4 Mini-drawers: 4 cables 1.2 x 1.2 = 1.44 cm2 (square to simplify). 1 Tilecal partition: 256 cables 369 cm2 Whole Tilecal: 1024 cables 1474 cm2 - Numbers submitted to Sergei Malyukov Hello Francois, at LS1 we plan cabling works, so can pull the cables, as many as you would need. I believe that later at LS2 one can install new cables for Tilecal, sough not sure that it still be me who will organize it. When you have detailed info on cables to be installed at LS1, please send them to me, including date when you would need cables on place. Regards, Sergei.
