Now that you have defined your idea a bit more, let’s talk about the potential solution…
Define the major elements of your informatics solution. What is your solution going to do? After your brainstorm, choose 3-5 of these features to focus on. Brainstorm parts of your solution. MAKE SURE THE AIM IS CLEAR! Maybe give them a form to fill out. Brainstorm!

Design Activities Now that you have a list of features to design to…
Individually, choose 1 of the following activities that you think best fits your project (or that your would just like to try) Use it to flesh out 1 feature from the brainstorming list When you are done, either: pick up another activity redo the one you already did from a new perspective, redo the one you already did with a new feature And keep designing! Divide the brainstorm from the activity! Design Activities

Usability. gov has a nice site on defining use cases
Usability.gov has a nice site on defining use cases. It’s way too much to paste on this page, so read it here: “A use case is a written description of how users will perform tasks on your website. It outlines, from a user’s point of view, a system’s behavior as it responds to a request. Each use case is represented as a sequence of simple steps, beginning with a user's goal and ending when that goal is fulfilled.” Create Use Cases

Next Time… You will discuss what you’ve created with your group
We’ll look at creating digital wireframes and/or prototypes. Next Time…
