Now we take those themes and frameworks, and we start designing our solution…

3. Now that you have defined your idea a bit more, let’s talk about the potential solution…
Define the major elements of your informatics solution. What is your solution going to do?
After your brainstorm, choose 3-5 of these features to focus on.
Brainstorm parts of your solution. MAKE SURE THE AIM IS CLEAR! Maybe give them a form to fill out.

6. Design Activities Now that you have a list of features to design to…
Individually, choose 1 of the following activities that you think best fits your project (or that your would just like to try)
Use it to flesh out 1 feature from the brainstorming list
When you are done, either:
pick up another activity
redo the one you already did from a new perspective,
redo the one you already did with a new feature
And keep designing!

“A use case is a written description of how users will perform tasks on your website.  It outlines, from a user’s point of view, a system’s behavior as it responds to a request. Each use case is represented as a sequence of simple steps, beginning with a user's goal and ending when that goal is fulfilled.”
