Roman Style Roman culture borrowed a lot of ideas from the Greeks
Roman artists, philosophers, and writers added to these ideas, also created own styles

Roman architecture used many arches, vaults, and domes which required being good at geometry Created large public building like the Coliseum Built 50,000 miles of roads Appian Way was the firsts of the roads built to transport Rome’s army. Tourists still visit Rome to walk on the Appain road today.
