Prayer is gift from God where I can talk to him about anything that’s on my mind.

Hallowed Be
Your Name?
God’s name is hallowed (kept holy) when I speak and live according to God’s Word.

Your Kingdom Come?
I ask that God will strengthen my faith and bring many other people to faith in Jesus.

I ask that God will help me to do his will rather than the will of the devil, world, and my sinful flesh.

What God really cares about is what’s in people’s hearts, whether they really love other people, whether they’re sincere Christians.” How should the pastor answer?

Since we are sinners, we might not always be able to teach God’s Word faithfully because it is impossible for us to avoid misspeaking at times
It is easier to teach God’s Word faithfully than it is to live it faithfully.

15. We pray for God’s kingdom to come so that more people will live in peace and so this world will be a better place to live.
A person says to you, “I don’t want to be part of anyone’s kingdom or ruled by anyone. I want to be free.”

16. Some Americans believe that Christ used to rule in the hearts of many people in this nation but now, for the most part, he doesn’t. They think the way to fix this is to make laws about abortion, mercy killing, homosexuality, prayer in public schools, and other similar issues. Would this help America to become a nation in which God’s kingdom is spreading? Why or why not?

17. Which enemy of God’s will is the worse: the devil, the world, or our sinful nature?
A/D: Asking God to stop drug dealing is part of the 3rd Petition.
Since it is God’s will that all people believe in Jesus, why doesn’t he just make everyone believe in Jesus?
