7 9/7/2018 Lab Scenario The labs in this training course are based upon the sales activities of the fictitious Tailspin Toys company The Tailspin Toys company: Represents a specialist small toy sales business located in the United States that sells model airplanes and helicopters domestically Accumulates sales data in an Access database, and is interested to explore and discover deeper insight from the data As an IT consultant for Tailspin Toys, you suggest implementing a BI project to produce a data model and reports to: Analyze state-level market penetration Monitor salespeople performance against quota Introduce the lab scenario and stress that the attendees are acting as an IT consultant for the Tailspin Toys company.
