4 Things We Believe Offense and Defense must be Flexible ( its high school) Must stay true to your identity at the same time Make it simple for OL (1 run play, 1 protection make up 99% of our O) Plays must have constraints Play kids at natural positions (Except QB) Can not make a mistake in choosing a QB Build Speed over Strength Forget maxes, concentrate on athleticism and ability to do the job 13 contact days per summer none in June Weight training: 1/3 traditional- 1/3 Olympic- 1/3 Absolute Speed Coaches are responsible for getting guys open!

5 Tailoring your Offense
Find things players do well Find things they like to do Find things that are easy for their skill set Find bang for your buck

32 Rocket Fast Screens were not as successful Quick hitter to the edge
Traded blocking ability for speed Quick hitter to the edge PST/PSG 45 degree step 4 yards up field C/BSG/BST get head across and up field PSWR’s based on defense

33 Rocket Diagram

34 Rocket Video

35 Rocket Gator Option Get our best athletes with the ball in space
Forced the defense to shift if they wanted to double cover Stretched the defense laterally and vertically with GT/Rocket/Go’s Lot of bang for the buck
