Architectural Style: Art Deco
History: Popular from 1925 to 1940’s in the United States. The style was based on discoveries of artifacts found in King Tut’s tomb. Art Deco design is a style that was more frequently used in commercial construction, but an adaptation was made to accommodate residential construction. One of the best locations to see examples of numerous art deco style structures is in South Beach, Florida. (Miami)
