24 BE INFORMATION LITERATE! REMEMBER
Student Search Engines and Educational Directories and Databases are BEST for RESEARCH Always use GENERAL or Commercial Search Engines as a last resort.  Use Student Start Pages and teacher recommended bookmarks first.  Try general reference information on the Internet. Go to Web start pages: rockvillelmc.wikispaces.com or Check the source of the information that you find:  Who posted this information?  Is this a reliable source?  Is this a biased source?  Is this site trying to sell you something? Confirm information found on this page with another source on or off the Internet. Use simple key words for searching educational Directories.  Use search tricks such as quote marks for phrases, AND, OR and NOT, when using search engines that recognize these. Always use more than one search engine or directory. Write down the Web address so you can credit the source information in your work. If you find an inappropriate site, click BACK and notify an adult.

25 Watch a few YOU TUBE videos on how to use NOODLETOOLS (there are links on the NOODLETOOLS website as you proceed. On how to share your project with your teachers for feedback or submission On how to share or collaborate:
