Microsoft Office365 9/8/2018 A family of Outlooks Windows Mac Web Mobile CY Q4 features Windows Mac Web iOS Android Win 10 Mobile Focused Inbox @mentions Cloud attachments Summary cards for travel & packages Archive Our goal is that across the Outlook family, we will deliver a coherent and consistent experience. Regardless of your setup and device, Outlook will be the best way to do & calendar. That also means we will deliver the same core feature on all platforms. If you look at some of our features we’re working on for this coming quarter, you can see we will be landing them on all our platforms, at (relatively) the same time. We know this has been a big ask of many of you, and we are excited to continue delivering on that ask. Of course, we will have some areas to do to catch up – additional features for Mac & mobile to catch up with some of our core Desktop & Web features. In both this session and additional deeper dive sessions on each of our products, you’ll see more about those plans. However, while we want to deliver that consistent experience across platforms, we aren’t trying to just force our Windows experience everywhere. To be a successful app on any device, you must be designed as if you belong on that platform. We want our apps to have a native look and feel, and feel natural on the underlying OS. The individual apps must take advantage of the underlying OS’s core features (e.g. Mac Full screen, Continuum, Live Tiles, TouchID, Android material design). So while you’ll see us focus on joint investments, we will also be delivering delightful features and design that make our apps feel at home on any platform. © 2012 Microsoft Corporation.
