I CANS for this week:
What have we achieved?
I can find my name and my belongings independently
I can identify at least one letter of the alphabet
I can count up to 5
I can trace or write some/many of the letters in my name
I can identify the colors and some shapes
I can use glue to complete my work
I can clean up my areas and materials that I use
We are so proud of our kids! As a group, they have learned so much more than expected over the course of 5 weeks. We have began writing our names so please work on this at home as well. You will see a big improvement throughout the course of the school year when learning takes place at home. We have also worked hard at counting out loud up to 5 or 10 and counting objects up to the same number. We will have parent conferences on October 13th so you can see your child's current progress individually. More information will go home soon.
