Requirements/ Outlook
A bachelors degree in a minimum requirement. Courses are in math, physics, and life sciences. Additional classes are in design and computer classes. Most employers look to hire those with two years or more in the field. Entry-level graduates can work with a experienced engineer. Average salary is $97,480, with many benefits. Job growth is slower than in other career fields, an estimated 13.3% increase in jobs will occur by 2020, but is sensitive to the economy.

Boing is an international aerospace and defense company. Founded in 1916, it is now one of the largest global aircraft manufacturers. They are also the largest exporter by value in America. They currently make the 737, 747, 767, 777, 787 commercial planes and several fighter planes. Boeing homepage

Wright brothers Together they owned a bike shop, and used their knowledge on bikes to make the first airplane that could sustain flight with controls One of their main ideas was that the wings should move to control the plane, where as other inventors were trying to move their bodies.

Werhner von Braun He was one of the leading figures in the development of the rocket in Nazi Germany He is credited as being the father of rocket science When working for NASA, he was the chief architect for the Saturn V launch system that brought the first men to the moon.
