2. The Giant’s Causeway
The Giant’s Causeway is a rock formation which legend tells us was built by a famous Irish giant Finn McCool.

3. Belfast Ship Yard
One hundred years ago Harland and Wolf built a very famous ship. Unfortunately the Titanic sank on its first voyage and many people were drowned.

4. Gracehill Village
Our school is located in a small village called Gracehill. Many of the buildings are over 200 years old.

5. Linen Making
One of the most important industries in Northern Ireland used to be making a very special cloth called linen.

6. Northern Ireland and America
The People of Northern Ireland are justly proud of the fact that more than a quarter of the 42 US Presidents have had their roots in Ulster

7. Northern Ireland’s Football Team
One of our most famous footballers was George Best.
The NI team plays at Windsor Park in Belfast.
We were very pleased when we recently got a draw with Portugal.

8. Other Sports
We are very enthusiastic about rugby. Our team is called Ulster. Rugby is played with teams of 15 players.
