10. vitality [vahy-tal-i-tee] Noun, plural
Capacity for survival or for the continuation of a meaningful or purposeful existence 1. We have to strive for vitality. 2. The young turtle showed vitality making his way to the sea. 3. The woman runs every morning to gain more vitality.

[oh-peyk] adjective not transparent or translucent; impenetrable to light; not allowing light to pass through 1. The blue vase is opaqueness but the clear vase is not. 2. The clouds are opaqueness the suns rays. 3. The bricks blocking the window made the inside of the house opaqueness.

1. There is extensive amount of brutes in Lord Of The Rings. 2. In the morning I can act like a brute. 3. If I saw a brute in real life I would be very scared!

16. mirage [mi-rahzh] Noun
An optical phenomenon, especially in the desert or at sea, by which the image of some object appears displaced above I heard a loud noise outside and when I looked up there was a huge mirage flying above me. Above the ocean there was a mirage flying over to check the area. The military uses a mirage for back up.

17. leering [leer] verb to look with a sideways or oblique glance, especially suggestive of lascivious interest or sly and malicious intention 1. I could see the stranger across the room leering at me. 2. When the boy saw the girl walk down the hall he started leering around the corner. 3. When I am in a crowd of people I feel like everyone is leering at me.

18. gargoyle [gahr-goil] Noun
A grotesquely carved figure of a human or animal 1. The old creepy house had an old stone gargoyle on the front step. 2. You can sometimes find old gargoyles at historical places. 3. In the grave yard, all the old tombstones were gargoyles.
