Registering at Bartlett High School
From a U-46 Middle School: Complete online registration in April You will receive notification from U-46 when registration opens From a Private School: Schedule appointment with Guidance February 1-March 3 ext. 4724 After appointment, complete online enrollment

Registering From a PRIVATE School
FORMS (filled out in advance) Proof of custody and residency Student Information Form Release of Records Form Ethnicity Form Emergency Card ELL Form Home Language Survey View Letter from Guidance Other DOCUMENTS Student’s original birth certificate Latest standardized test results Current grades Proof of residency (one of:) Current mortgage statement Signed lease agreement Real estate tax bill Closing statement Current utility bill Valid government ID Public aid card Receipt for city vehicle sticker

Course Selection - 9th Grade Year
ACADEMY ADVANCED HONORS BIOLOGY 1-2 ACADEMY HONORS INTEGRATED MATHEMATICS I HONORS PLTW INTRODUCTION TO ENGINEERING DESIGN INTEGRATED TECHNOLOGY English or Honors English PE Elective (Most likely a foreign language)

Academic Standards Students must maintain a C average in all Academy courses during all 4 High School Years (D in Sem 1, C in Sem 2 or better) Remediation and Probation to work with the teachers to maintain academic standards Students that earn 2 D’s in any Academy course, or an E in either semester will exit the Academy (return to home high school)

Academic Standards If a student exits the Academy for any reason (fails a course, chooses to exit, etc.), the student must return to their home school If a Senior exits the Academy, they can continue at BHS as long as they provide their own transportation (they must have successfully completed Junior year)

Ground Hawk Day - February 17th
Explore Bartlett High School Academy Drop off at BHS 7:50-8:00am, Auditorium Entrance Students will participate in team building activities and shadow current Academy students Time will be allotted for Lunch Pick up at BHS at 2:00pm, Auditorium Entrance Students must bring SIGNED parent permission slip & Sack Lunch on the day of the event Transportation & Lunch will not be provided by the district. You must provide your own transportation.

Job Exploration During the Summer of 2017:
Students must complete a 4 hour job exploration experience. Job Exploration Package is available on the Bartlett Academy Website. Students will submit completed package to their Technology Instructor. Failure to complete all Explorations may result in Academy probation, Academy exit, and/or loss of Academy designation at graduation
