3. General Science and Engineering Fair Information
CSRA Regional Science and Engineering Fair-an INTEL affiliated fair and follows Intel International guidelines and rules
1st place winners are eligible to compete at the regional level in the CSRA Regional Science and Engineering Fair
School Science and Engineering Fair-Each category should have 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention based on the total number of projects for each category
School Science and Engineering Fair-To determine the number of winners, we recommend 4%, 6%, 8% and 10% of projects for the 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Honorable Mention, respectively
Example: 50 7th grade projects:2-1st place winners, 3- 2nd place winners, 4-3rd place winners and 5-Honorable Mentions
Highly recommended-Grades K-3 do Class Projects

4. General Science and Engineering Fair Information
Prior to beginning Science and Engineering Fair Projects- students should complete common forms
Science Buddies Project Proposal Form
Kim Mitchell, Regional Fair Coordinator –(803) or
Students are encouraged to avoid research on humans and vertebrate animals. Paperwork can get intense.

5. General Science and Engineering Fair Information
Projects will be set up at USC Aiken-Student Activity Center-
3/10/17 3:00-6:00 pm
3/11/17 8:00-10:00 am
All students will need: Science Fair Board(Tri-Fold Board), Final Research Report, Log Book and Required Division Form
