Location South Carolina is a state in the southeastern region of the United States. The state is bordered to the north by North Carolina, to the south and west by across the Savannah River, and to the east by Georgia the Atlantic Ocean.

History of South Carolina
At first the Spaniards who entered in 1521 and 1562 French Huguenot tried colonize the coast of the islands.
