Special Activities (Field trips, Assemblies, Celebrations, etc.)
You must meet behavioral, academic, and attendance expectations in order to participate
17
Team Classroom Expectations Large Group Discussion
Give your full attention to the speaker. Remain quiet, eyes on speaker, sit up in your chair. Raise your hand to participate and wait for your turn to speak. Ask questions that are relevant to the discussion. Respond positively and constructively. It is okay to disagree with someone, but it must be done in a respectful manner.
18
Team Classroom Expectations Small Group Work
Form group quickly and quietly. Each group member must contribute equally and as directed by teacher. Keep conversation related to the assignment. Use appropriate voice level. Stay seated in your assigned group and raise your hand for help. Respond positively and constructively to others’ ideas.
19
Team Classroom Expectations Individual Seat Work
Read and follow directions on your own before asking for help. Stay quiet and focused on work. Raise your hand quietly if help is needed. Double check your work before turning it in. If you finish early you may read or work on other assignments.
