10. Run ons
A fused sentence results when no punctuation or coordinating conjunction separates two or more independent clauses. A comma splice results when two or more independent clauses are joined with only a comma.

11. Use a period to separate independent clauses, forming two sentences

12. Use a semicolon to separate independent clauses
