2. Materials
Scissors
Base template
Insert template

3. Start with the base template.

4. Fold base template in half along the dotted line.

5. Fold right side flap to the middle, along the dotted line.

6. Fold left side flap towards the middle, along the dotted line.

7. The base template should now be in a “W” shape.

8. Fold the base template back in half with horizontal lines facing up.

9. Cut along solid horizontal lines to form slits.

10. It should look like this.

11. Now, we will begin creating the inserts.

12. Cut the insert template in half along the dotted line.

13. You should have 2 pieces of paper.1 2

14. To finish, we need both the base template and the inserts.

15. Weave 1 insert through the left side of the base template starting with going “over” the first strip of paper.
Over

16. Weave the second insert through the right side of the base template starting with going “under” the first strip of paper.
Under

17. Open it up from the middle.
You can open it from the middle on both sides. You now have twice the amount of space on one sheet of paper.
