JOBS Promise Neighborhoods Assertive community Treatment Improves outcomes for people with severe mental illness who are most at risk of psychiatric crisis and hospitalization It's not a linkage program, but provides individual care 24/7 and the recipients home It consists of a multiplendinary team Trained in social work, nursing, psychiatry, substance abuse welfare-to-work program Key: to quickly move welfare recipients into the workforce Fast track: Each individual is assigned their own case worker and placed in adult education classes, or life skill classes, or vocational training, or job search. “Good Jobs” :Unlike other program this program encourages clients to take “good jobs.” even if it means turning down lower quality jobs- providing Key: break the cycle of intergenerational poverty Community driven, place based Cradle to Career education pipeline efforts to improve educational and developmental outcomes from birth to college to career Belief: holistic
