2. What happened this year ?
New policies subscribed with YCC’s insurance company, Helvetia, for 4 boats purchased in 2016:
3 dinghies : 1 RS400, 1 RS500, 1 29er;
1 keelboat : Edel with mooring place at Port-Choiseul
Insurance canceled for 3 boats sold : 2 Laser2, ISO.
Modified our insurance contracts for 2 Surprises and J80 to increase the amount of RC insurance from 2 Mio to 4 Mio CHF, as requested by some external-regatta organizers.
Designated the activity of using the harbor crane in our “Club RC” policy, as required by Capitainerie for obtaining their authorization.

3. What happened this year ?
In April every year, we ask Helvetia for :
An « RC (responsabilité civile) club » (CHF ) insurance certificate for the police about organizing internal regattas that has been extended this year for CERN Cup
A CASCO insurance certificate for YCC boats participating in external regattas.
Review of R and GS key holders living in France and holding or not the French motor licence required for engine above 6HP
- Accidents and thefts follow-up (claim reports and follow-up – this year : only 1 accident during the season )

4. Insurance coverage 2016 :
The standard new-boat insurance coverage includes :
RC ( CHF)
CASCO complet (fully comprehensive), external regattas, dégâts naturels (natural damages)
Accidents : medical care, recovery costs, death ( CHF), disability ( CHF)
Reminder : The old Yngling, Edel and Aquila are insured for RC and accidents only (no CASCO)

5. What to do in case of an accident
YCC members should report every incident / damage to Haude Morel and Marcel Arditi (newly co-responsible YCC Committee member for insurance in ) as soon as possible (not only via the logbook) 
