2 Podcasts are Different than Radio
Radio is lean back- Podcasts are lean forward Podcasts start at the beginning Radio is ruled by the clock-Podcasts are free of time constraints. Radio must be broad-Podcasts can serve narrow niches. Radio a button away-Podcasts require an opt in so engagement is higher. Radio is perishable-Podcasts are always available.

4 Back End I use Blubrry Power Press for distribution
Wordpress web site. Burn RSS feeds for each program you want to podcast. Have proper graphics made Revive Old Posts SumoMe Sharaholic

5 Podcasts Start with existing programs Do each one individually
RSS feed Decide what platforms Remember long tail works Content is king Promote, promote, promote!!!!!

Average length of a podcast- 22 minutes Day most podcasts post- Tuesday Frequency- Weekly

A summary paragraph Scripture and quotes used Reflections How to subscribe How to Join list Transcripts Show notes

8 Promotion Facebook post with link to podcast- Once on publication and again a day later, a week later and a month later. Facebook groups- Post once each group Twitter- Three tweets a day for a week. Google+-Posted to public and a variety of Catholic groups once. Pinterest- Pint once to several pinterest boards you have created and other prominent Catholic board.
