GRANT MANAGEMENT TEAM BMC sought out a partner to complement our capabilities with expertise that we don’t have internally.

OUR LOCATION I would like to highlight the principal office locations for our team and reinforce that we are stakeholders in the success of the Hollywood CRA.

COMPANY BACKGROUND – BMC
Serving these and other clients since 2001 providing professional services including: Program management Support Grant Administration Grant and other funding source Compliance assurance Grant reimbursement applications Financial oversight of programs / projects Project reporting including sources and uses of funds Owner’s Representation Services BMC is a CRA recruit! While working with the Hollywood CRA staff to implement the Countywide Bikeshare System within the City of Hollywood…a certain CRA employee made a compelling case that BMC should be based in Hollywood…we relocated in 2011…the rest is History. SCOPE OF SERVICES PROVIDE GRANT MANAGEMENT SERVICES TO ENSURE THAT GRANTS ARE COMPLETED AND FILED WITH APPROPRIATE AGENCIES IN A TIMELY MANNER. Technically oriented to complete the detailed, “boring but required” parts of the grant Familiar with grant writing techniques Provide project schedules from grant application through construction and grant close out Contract Compliance Experience Budget Development & Management

SCOPE OF SERVICES PREPARE AND SUBMIT ALL DOCUMENTS, DRAWINGS, BUDGET, ETC. TO QUALIFY FOR VARIOUS GRANTS Provide renderings, construction drawings, conceptual plans in house Experience with budget/cost estimating including: Construction costs Arts improvements Tourism Coastal sustainability Grant compliance through out construction and close out

SCOPE OF SERVICES CONSULT WITH GRANT FUNDING ENTITIES AND INFORM THE CRA OF THE DETAILS. Grant coordination Meetings with agencies to determine project fit Understanding of the CRA’s goals and future project lists Follow-up with CRA and agencies to find matches

SCOPE OF SERVICES COLLABORATE WITH CRA TO ESTABLISH THE PROGRAM’S OBJECTIVES AND HOW TO ALLOCATE THE BUDGET Establish a project/program priority list Community Improvement Environment Art – Culture – Humanities Youth Development Housing Recreation Find the grant to fit the project needs Communicate the schedule and financial obligations of the grant Coordination with City grant writing to collaborate not compete Assistance with staff recommendations to commission/board for approval

COST OF SERVICES BMC is open to negotiating a fixed monthly “retainer” once the workload and responsibilities of each party are more fully developed. Any estimate of total fee would be dependent on knowing the level of effort, number of grants applied for, managed, implemented and closed out. We therefore offer the rate table below for your consideration in response to the CRA’s request for rates. Bait panel into interactive session to cover missed points.
