WHY WEAR MAKEUP ON STAGE?
*to enhance the actor’s features and coloring and make him more visible and distinctive, in other words, so the audience can SEE you! *helps create a visual character

Definition of Stage Makeup
Any cosmetic effect, including hair, that enhances or changes an actor’s appearance.

Makeup Crew The professional crew in charge of designing and applying makeup for each professional actor. Student actors generally apply their own makeup.
