Charter – WG Ground-Rules
The charter is relatively narrow G/MPLS traffic engineering Simple configurations (e.g start by Inter-area TE) The milestones are our main (only) focus The timeline is very aggressive We are already behind schedule ;-) What about my favorite application for PCE? Chances are, it’s out of scope for the moment What should I do? Don’t despair! Help deliver the current milestones Build a solid foundation for PCE Can I work on my special application of PCE? Yes, this is fine Don’t expect your work to become a WG draft at this point Do discuss your draft on the PCE mail list Do continue to work on the base drafts 62nd IETF Minneapolis March 2005
