PE PE is every Tuesday. The children can wear jogging bottoms and jumpers for the colder months followed by shorts and T-shirts when the weather improves. Plimsoles or trainers must be worn for PE. If your child has not got suitable foot wear, for health and safety reasons, they will not be able to take part in PE. No jewellery, including earrings or large hair bows can be worn for PE. This is in order for us to keep your child safe. The children can take their water bottles along to PE. If you would like to purchase a school water bottle, you can do so via ParentPay.

Homework Homework is handed out every Friday.
This could be a reading, writing, maths or curriculum subject activity. Homework must be handed back by Wednesday so that the class teacher has sufficient time to mark. Some activities set will be given longer time to complete. This will be clearly explained on the homework activity.

Spellings and Reading Spellings are handed out every Friday in a pirate book. The children are to keep these at home and return them the following Friday. A short quiz will take place and the new spellings will be stuck in. Reading records and reading books must be returned every day. If you read with your child, sign their record and when they have finished their book, it will be changed. They must bring their book every day as they may read with an adult in school as a 1:1
