Escape The Room David Thomas

Main visual style - use images to illustrate topic
Explain goal of game The goal of the game is to escape the room, you can do this by searching for items, combining the items and solving puzzles until you eventually have the key to escape. There will also be a time limit Key gameplay elements You click the arrows on the screen to navigate around the room. You can also click on the items to pick them up and add them to your inventory. I would like the game to be first person Main visual style - use images to illustrate topic I would like my visual style to be similar to these 2 examples what I have found. Sound , Visuals and interactivity I will be getting the sounds from my game off YouTube and turning them into mp3’s using YouTube to mp3. In my game I plan to add background music, I would like a sound to play evreytime you pick up a object, and I want a sound to plan when you finally escape the room. The visuals of my game are going to be cartoony like the 2 examples above, my visuals will be designed on Photoshop using shape’s. I plan to have a lot of interactivity in my game, you will be able to navigate through out all the rooms, you will be able to pick up objects and use them to interact with the environment, you will also have a inventory where all of your items will be stored.

Future potential (sequels, DLC, spin-off, other platforms)
My game will be created on flash and it will be for PC. Target audience The target audience for my project 8 game are males and females who are aged between 13 and 18 who enjoy puzzle/escape style games. I created a survey for this project so I could gather research on my audience. From these survey results I learnt that the target audience are males aged I also learnt that the 3 most popular game genres with the people researched are open-world, action and adventure. The people researched spend on average 6-12 hours gaming. Pricing structure (full price, download, micro transactions, in-app, freemium, free) The game will be free to download or play online I don’t plan for there to be micro transactions Future potential (sequels, DLC, spin-off, other platforms) Maybe a 2nd version of the game what's more challenging The game could probably be put onto mobile
