6 Our design approach

7 Quick intro to Bush Heritage
We work across Australia, focusing our effort on the shaded patches where biodiversity is most in need of protection We work in 2 main ways buying land and managing it as conservation reserves - the red dots Working with other land-owners, particularly aboriginal communities – to help them manage their lands – the yellow dots

8 Fundraising Financial Management Conservation People Management
Our business model – Conservation is the core business, supported by 3 other business processes for managing our fundraising, finances and people

9 Donor Management System (BBCRM; DM data)
Fundraising Financial Management Conservation People Management Donor Management System (BBCRM; DM data) Finance System (Microsoft Dynamics GP) Conservation Project System (Miradi, Miradi Share) Spatial System (ArcGIS) Monitoring data Each of these business processes have their own systems to support them – All can produce various reports of the information required by that process PowerBI has let us create more useful reports for each process, but more importantly, we can now get an integrated view across our whole business HR systems (Safety, training, payroll)
