GIS at a Regional Level Regional Planning and Development Councils were established by legislation in 1972 and are a statewide network of cooperating organizations that provide a strategic array of services to support community and economic development. Cooperating organizations may be municipalities, local government entities or county commissions Currently managing 256 projects totaling almost 700 million in funding Some services we provide: Grant Application Development and Assistance Project Development and Administration Procurement Services Funding Research CEDS (Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy) Preparation GIS Services 2016 West Virginia GIS Conference
