2. Your teacher will give you;
An information sheet.
A cup
Some compost
Some sunflower seeds.

3. What do I need to do? It’s a competition!
You need to choose a variable to investigate, this might be temperature or how much light there is and see if this affects how well your seeds grow. Then, you need to produce a project to show off your work. The next few slides show some examples of work from previous years. Your booklet contains all the details to get you started..
It’s a competition!
There are usually prizes for the best project and the biggest sunflower head.

5. Keep a diary.

6. You should include some results.
Think carefully about how you will present them.

7. It doesn’t matter if some of your attempts at growing sunflowers are unsuccessful!

8. Include graphs and/or charts to display the data that you collect.
