Setting Your Schedule When you give your manager your availability, consider the following: How much time do you need for homework? Do you have any standing commitments during the week? (other jobs, volunteering, extracurricular activities) Once your schedule is set, we expect you to follow it, so make sure to pause and think it through!

Schedule Changes Complete the Schedule Request in SharePoint Unique situations Talk to your manager asap Vacation planning Do not purchase tickets until you have the time off

When You Miss a Shift If Sam is your supervisor, please reach out to your peers to get all or a portion of your shift covered. When your absence has been approved, please update the Outlook calendar for the shift(s) to reflect the schedule change and any additional coverage that a peer can offer If Krista is your supervisor, find another time to make up the hours, if possible.

When to Text If Krista is your supervisor, never text. She doesn’t get service. If Sam is your supervisor, text when You will be more than 5 minutes late to your shift You are unable to make a shift due to illness or emergency You would like to request time off or a modification to a shift

Schedule Changes - Vacation
Complete the Schedule Request in Sharepoint, as far in advance as possible. Your manager will consider operational needs and respond Do not buy plane tickets until you’ve gotten the A-OK from your manager.
